Tonight I attended a special consultation session about the revelopment of Havebury flats in Out Westgate, featured on these pages earlier. It was well attended by residents and staff, some from Havebury, and the planners and architect. I was reminded of the general layout of the 30 units, and found out that they will all be 100% rented.
I have concerns about the access route joining such busy and fast-moving traffic in OutWestgate. Also there are one or two families, particularly those adjacent to the existing flats, who may well suffer a particular loss of amenity.
However, in the two hours or so that I was there I found most visitors content with the proposals.
