I hope I am wrong

Having complained about the Kings Road pavements to the county councillors, one of them, Mark Ereira has emailed me as follows:

"Please tell your resident to hold their horses! This is the initial 'patching' work required before being repaired to high standard. I am told the work will be completed by this Weds."

I find it hard to imagine how there can be any further improvement, given that the patching has got to the level of the kerb. But I live in hope! And of course I apologise to all concerned.
