Lines and bollards

Until yesterday a bollard stood outside 62 Whiting Street - but with difficulty. As you can imagine, on the edge of a buildout in this narrow but busy road, it was frequently knocked down. In fact it was even hit on one occasion whilst being re-fixed!

Yesterday was the final straw, and it will now be replaced by the stronger fleur-de-lys type bollards used elsewhere.

And below, good news for Nelson Road residents with parking permits - today's relined white and yellow lines leave no excuse for outsiders not to be given a ticket.
