Nelson Road suffers from motorists, who think it will lead them to the Cattle Market car park, trying to enter it there and then being forced to turn round. Naturally it is rather irritating to residents, who already suffer the contractors' site huts at the end of their gardens and more than their fare share of pedestrian footfall.
The temporary signs I arranged some months ago (yellow plastic tied to a pole in the picture below) are apparently 'illegal' whilst the legal cul-de-sac warning has little or no effect. I have formally requested that something more permanent, visible and legal replaces them.
