I have made Mrs F very happy today by retrieving her fairy from the bottom of our pond, several weeks after it fell in with the help of a blackbird. Here she (the fairy) is in the middle of the waterfall. The rescue operation involved the use of boots and a steady footing on the slippery bottom of the pond. Mrs F is delighted. I couldn't possibly comment.

Mrs Farmer should 'ponder' the cost of a by-election should the saviour of the figurine fall and 'split his head open'.
I like Mrs Farmer's fairy. I've been thinking of getting some fairy like things for my garden, as I was very inspired by the garden with the gypsy caravan in it, that I saw on the Hidden Gardens Day. 21stC Mummy recommended I should look at it - she was right, it was one of the best gardens IMO. The lady writes childrens fairy story books. But going back to my garden, it might be a bit too much of a mess to introduce fairies. Although I suppose they might cut the grass and do the weeding at night ...
David, are you suggesting I should have worn headgear? I suppose the figurine could always stand for election, and would probably get my sympathy vote.
Ruby, great to have you back. But I have to tell you that the only fairy who cuts our grass and weeds is Mrs Fairy herself. Also, one tasteful fairy good, two or more fairies tacky.
