I thought very much the same, as I picked the first blackberry in our garden last week. I've also noticed some of the oak tree leaves turning a faint autumnal shade.
Indeed. I hadn't thought of the global warming aspect of things, but was marvelling at the big ripe blackberries on the spare bit of land up the road from us, which I spotted yesterday. It's only mid July! Also, I thought I saw some trees with autumnal tinges to them in Nowton Park yesterday, but thought it was my mistake and must just be the variety of tree ... maybe not.

Ruby - 'spare bit of land'? There will be a house built soon if a developer spots it.
