That is beautiful, do you play professionally?

Paul - was that for Heather?

Thank you PM.

David don't be cheeky. Anyway, We're in the money would have been the obvious choice.

I'm not sure who you mean, so I'll take potos of all of them.

PM - Paul has played at Harriets Cafe Tea Rooms and last year -it seems like only 'Yesterday' - he raised money for charity by playing all day one Saturday.

I sponspored 'Exodus', the theme from the film of the same name about the struggles leading to the birth of Israel in 1948.

Paul - Heather hasn't got the money yet. I understand she wants £50 million. I would stick a nought on that. He can afford it.

Think 'true evil' and you will snap the right woman.

That was absolutely beautiful. It brought a tear to my eye. More piano playing please!

Was the "Yesterday" indicative of nostalgia for a Bury St Edmunds of old? Do you think it has lost any of its charm?

Charlotte Howard said...

No anon. Whilst to some extent I feel that way about society and life in general, I think Bury has rather bucked the trend. For example, not one charming building, street, monument or leisure space will be changed let alone replaced by the Cattle Market development.

I think Bury has increased in charm over the years, especially since the pedestrianisation of some streets.

What it needs now is an imaginative input - street theatre, outdoor art displays, permanent sculptures, music (Cllr Farmer could set the trend - he might even earn a few bob! I can`t imagine that the pay of a Cllr will make him a millionaire!)

Very evocative. Can we have some more please?

Do you play any other Beatles tunes? Do you do requests? Would love to hear some more.

Charlotte Howard said...

I don't "do" requests but I might be prepared to play one or two.

Could you please play "Always look on the bright side of life"? Such a good way to start the week!
