I have just received the results of SID's recent visits to Southgate Street, and I quote:
27th September - mean - 23.9mph - 85th percentile - 27.7mph (13.20 to 15.08) - 160 vehicles 4th October - mean - 24.3mph - 85th percentile - 27.9mph (8.51am to 11.00am) - 216 vehicles
There is a note which says this shows "good compliance with the speed limit". That's not much consolation for those of us who think its 10 m.p.h too fast!
