My new website

Why not visit my new interactive website @
www.PaulFarmer.com where you can:
have your say at Bury Forum - share views about anything;
sign my guestbook;
(your comments for both these may take time to appear)
vote on my current survey;
tell me privately what you think about this site, via feedback;
or just follow the main news - click on a headline to read the whole story.

I haave finally completed the website, which is now back on its original address:

www.paulfarmer.com

Readers (if there are any) clearly have better things to do than visit it, but all comments welcome.

As I had a spare bit of time I had a look. Paul, it takes far too long to load. I'm on a fast broadband connxn here, but it took about 20 seconds to go past the "loading x%" stage. Really, really put me off.

Thanks for that headless. It does take me almost that time too, but I have no choice with such an interactive package. On advice I had aleady cut out the flash intro.

I shall have to hope people can be patient!

I think you'll find it is 'site'. It took too long to load so I shan't bother. Besides, it's probably full of spelling mistakes. Editor hired yet?

Thanks for your vigilance, as ever, anonymous. Pity about your patience.

I too echo the previous comments about the time it takes to load. It`s not so spontaneous either, so I don`t think I`ll spend my time on it either Perhaps one day when I really have nothing better to do.I think you will find you have few contributors, but perhaps that is what you want?

Did I lose the comment I just made? Shan`t be looking at the new web site as it takes a boringly long time to load and it has lost the spontaneity. I think you will have fewer contributors - but perhaps that is what you want?

Fewer negative comments from those hiding behind the anonymous category? Sounds good to me.

In the time you took to bother writing and submitting those comments you could have loaded the website.

Paul. I hate to say this. But I don't like it much either. Apart from the time to load (which for me isn't too bad - 8MB Business broadband supplied by www.hOpOnto.IT!!!) It doesn't seem very user friendly. It also looks/feels plasticy/amateur. Difficult to put into words really. I don't mean it rudely, just telling you how it feels to me.

I'm sure I'll get comments about mine now! Hoffy.

Oh dear, where's that pistol...?

I hear what you say Paul, and I appreciate your honesty (I think!) but its all down to my inexperience and choice of a simple kit.
