On a recent visit to Maidstone in Kent, I was very surprised to see such generous spaces throughout their multi-storey car park. As a car driver this is good news, because it makes it easier to park, but as a local tax payer I might wonder how many extra spaces could have been fitted in.I couldn't resist taking the following picture outside a small church in more rural Kent...
