On 9th January there was a serious accident at the bend where Kings Road meets Albert Crescent. A speeding car ploughed into a back garden, as can be seen in the picture above. Two pedestrians were badly injured and a man was subsequently arrested.Residents in the area are naturally concerned, and there have been calls for action, including to make Kings Road safer. I have discussed this with some residents and am meeting with officers from the borough and county councils to see what if anything can be done.
