The main alternative library in Bury opened today, with a pleasing selection of books, more in fact than I expected. The event was marked by a ceremonious walk from the old to the new, which of course is temporary - if several months can be called that.
The bear is apparently connected with the children's library, and I have a horrible feeling that the BFP will contain a picture of it and me next Friday.
