Turning away from disturbing local issues for a moment, who knows where this is? Mrs F and I spent a couple of hours here on our recent whistle-stop eight days abroad. I know some of you can't resist a guessing game, so why not have a go?
Only a couple of hours? Surely you needed longer to try its local produce. Trust you bought a little back. By using some sort of eliminations I think it is quite easy to work out where you went.
Well we were sharing the driving Clearwater - but you're right, it wasn't Alfriston!
Many years ago when we first visited we bought an appropriate small plant and brought it back with us. It has moved whenever we have and flourishes (but rarely produces).

I think we spent a couple of hours there too (a couple of yeas ago). I hope you had a chance to visit the catacombs.
Not aware of these. Now I come to think of it we probably stayed only an hour at the most.
I glanced at photo quickly at thought the church was St John's in Bury! I don't travel much as you can tell!
PM - er.........bit cold.
Eureka! Have only just been informed that the answer is in a sort-of anagram posted by one of you. Very clever indeed!
Does that help others?
Nope, no help what so ever!
