Wrong, Mr Day...

Roy Day's letter in today's Bury Free Press claims that the Conservatives "are only undoing what they...did during the first four years of this council."

He seems to have forgotten that when first elected in 2003 the Town Council comprised six who stood on a Labour ticket, two as LibDems, three as Independents, five with no political description at all (who happened to be Conservatives but didn't want to politicise the council) and another then Conservative who was co-opted.

That's a total of six out of seventeen, Mr Day.
