Last of the lettuces

Contrary to what my detractors think, I have been involved in growing my own since 1977 including lettuces, onions, spring onions, garlic, beetroot, sprouts, tomatoes, potatoes, basil, cucumbers, courgettes, peppers, aubergines, beans and peas.
In recent years I have had less time for this rewarding activity and Mrs F has taken over the gardening. She has managed to produce lettuces all summer from her smaller-than-an-allotment patch on the edge of our garden. Here are probably the last of them, in a nursery pot.
For those of you worried about the 'weeds' on the left, these are dandelion plants which she grew from natural seed which she caught in the air - as you do!
