I was not around on Friday to post my usual critique of the BFP letters. Catching up, I see that Alan Murdie, ghost expert and unsuccessful candidate in the May elections, made a contribution which can also be found on the BFP website.

Mr Murdie is of course also the spokesman for the so-called "Knights of St Edmund" whose fascinating web site (including a few digs at me on the homepage) can be found at http://www.knightsofsaintedmund.com/

Paul - thanks for the link. I haven't looked at this site for about a year. It's certainly interesting if a bit wayward.

My only question would be: What will the Knights do when the building works are completed and the site is open for business - and the sky doesn't fall in?

Oh it's all a mystery to me, I'd better not say any more for risk of being struck down with something nasty.

21stCM - you can hide in the corner with me till they all grow up a bit. Bring cake, it may be a long wait!!

Don't hide girls Its time to expose the CM narks.

Some one on our council is a Centros Millar champion.may be more than one. It is time to expose them and send them to the naughty step for ever. LOL

are you by chance paul.

David - presumably they'll shut up or find someone else to curse.

21CM and PM - you should be safe. When I met Mr Murdie at the election count (he had a rather suave monocle) and said "look out or you may get cursed" he was charming and assured me he only curses institutions. I'm not sure that this is entirely born out by their site.

Colin - nice to see you back again, despite your bizarre logic. Just because someone highlights this website how does it make them a CM "nark", as you so charmingly put it?

Sorry Colin, but if Picklesmum is suggesting a chance to hide and eat cake for a long while, I can't resist the temptation. Picklesmum, I think it's profiteroles for starters, lemon drizzle for main and raspberry roulade for dessert :-D

Two plus Two do not make Five paul.

mentioning the web site in fact may suggest the opposite, and may indicate you have paid your £10, ( not being a local boy and all that) How ever I think you may know who the CM narks are, and may be willing to say you are not one of them. Naming them on a blog may be difficult but then council minutues and voting is open to the public is it not?

PM & 21CM can I hide with you if I bring some nice grub? Colin's riddles frighten me.

Colin - the answer is 4 and Miller's the name. Now there's a funny fing! Hopefully, I've got that right.
