#2: Best of Suffolk Market

This was the scene this morning when the first "Best of Suffolk" market opened, organised by the newly reformed Town Centre Management under the leadership of Steve Peters and his band of volunteers...
...and in conjunction with St Edmundsbury Council (whose staff also volunteered). With beautiful weather it promises to be an ideal day to visit.

You'll be in time for the Greene King stall, but you wouldn't have been at 10am. Here are the staff setting up at the last minute "because the delivery was late" according to Steve.

Maybe you'd prefer something cuddly?

Talking of which (!) these lovely ladies were part of the team responsible for organising and/or stewarding the event. Some of them were on site at 5.30!!! Well done and thanks to all.

Paul - none of your voting options are necessary IMO. Things are fine as they are.

I agree with david on this one.
maybe try and keep the political stuff to the "offical site".

Much better, though there was too much 'town centre management' and council things mentioned!

David - the vote is just for fun (who voted for Mrs F?!) but thanks anyway.

Colin & PM - I'll try, but this blog was started to show a wider view of a councillor's life, so I can't exclude all "council things". Thanks for the comments both.

Why can't it be personal? This could have just been a nice Bank Holiday Market, it didn't the the Council extras! Go on forget you are a councillor for a while!

That's what Mrs F says, PM!

..and that's why I voted for MORE MRS F!!

Does Mrs F ever look at the photos you want to post of her rear view (as it nearly always is)and say-you're not using that one, my b-m looks big in it? Not that it does-it's just a woman thing. Or doesn't she read your blog?

PM - looks like your request is being met, at least by FM.

FM - Mrs F cannot see the fascination in blogs, and never looks at my two.

Anyway she trusts me.

Have just voted for Mrs F. But honestly, trust your own instinct and go with the flow. If you put something up that allows others to put the boot in that's just half the fun (hmm, but it is better without the politics) ;-)
